Responsibilities are to oversee The Salvation Army Eastern Territory's participation in, reporting for, and compliance with the federal New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program. The employee will participate on the Eastern Territory's NMTC Committee, report changes in the federal NMTC program policies and procedures, communicate with Divisions/Commands interested in initiating a NMTC Funding Program, coordinate reporting activity from Divisions/Commands for Community Development Entities (CDEs) and Investor Banks, preparing reports for NMTC fees for reimbursement, providing support to the field on questions of budgets, management reports, and additional NMTC reporting activity, visiting sites as required, and other duties as assigned.


Must have Bachelor's degree in related field with at least 2 years of prior NMTC experience or 3-5 years of experience with a similar federal program such as LIHTC program. Must have strong attention-to-detail and organizational skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
