Reporting to the Secretary for Communications & Editor in Chief, responsibilities include researching and writing features and other stories for Salvation Army publications, assisting in planning issues, coordinating receipt of photographs and articles, editing releases and articles, checking page proofs and printer proofs, fact checking, conducting interviews for articles, translating articles into Spanish as needed, and other duties as assigned.


Must be a Christian. Salvationist preferred. Bachelor's degree in Journalism and 3-5 years of related experience desired. Must have strong writing and editing skills in English and Spanish and be able to travel when needed. Some photography skills preferred.
