The Dover Corps seeks a Secretary/Assistant Case Worker to provide clerical and human services assistance. The Secretary/Assistant Case Worker will meet with clients to assess needs, develop treatment plans and goals, make appropriate referrals, and obtain and record case data as well as develop and maintain accurate files for clients. The Secretary/Assistant Case Worker will be responsible for general clerical duties such as greeting and directing visitors, answering the phone and making appropriate referrals, making copies, assisting with thank you letters, and taking meeting minutes as assigned. The Secretary/Assistant Case Worker will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the Food Pantry operation (ordering, scheduling appointments, organizing as needed, preparing baskets), assisting with seasonal operations such as Back to School, Thanksgiving, and Christmas programs, and contributing to the development of Corps ministry by participating in staff meetings.


The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be punctual and able to multitask, be self-motivated, highly organized, and maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
