Position: Client Support Technician (2 positions available)
Department: Information Technology
Availability of Position: Immediate
Schedule: Typically M-F; 8:30AM-4:00PM
Occasional overtime may be needed to include evenings and/or weekends. Some travel required.
Reporting Relationship: Directly to Director of Information Technology
Salary/Grade: 77 Nonexempt
Description of Position: This is a helpdesk position providing hardware and software support for on site and remote clients (telephone and desk side). Install, configure, troubleshoot, modify and maintain client’s workstations. Assists with writing down phone messages, creating helpdesk tickets, obtaining answers, and returning calls as requested. Troubleshoot and resolve computer, and network related problems. Maintain and log documentation of all current and completed service requests. Provide basic training for new clients. Assist the department director with special projects as needed. May be asked to travel to various worksites to provide technical support, set up computers, etc. Performs related duties as assigned.
