TITLE: Bridging the Gap Specialist
POSITION AVAILABLE DATE: Immediate

REPORTS TO: Corps Officers
SALARY GRADE: 10
SCHEDULE: Full Time
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The Director is responsible for the overall implementation and management of the BTG Program. The Director will work with other Salvation Army staff to ensure that necessary financial and human resources are available to sustain and grow the program. The Director will engage in a process of continuous improvement to ensure the best possible program outcomes are achieved. The performance of the program will be measured against goals and stated outcomes.
Some regular responsibilities include teaching, developing community volunteer and financial resources, public speaking engagements to raise awareness of the program, interaction with students and their families as well as local government leaders and internal staff and volunteers.
Though exact work hours have not yet been set, it is understood that this is not a “9-5” position, but that some regularly scheduled evening hours will be required in order to conduct classes.
