Position: Regional Manager
(Initially Centre County – to multiple counties within 6 - 12 months)
Department: Service Extension Department (of Divisional Headquarters "DHQ")
Availability of Position: Immediate
Schedule: Full Time - requiring significant scheduling flexibility to attend evening meetings and meetings convened at a distance from home.
Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Service Extension Director
Description of Position:
The Regional Manager
is to provide leadership in establishing and maintaining fund raising and
program efforts for each Service Unit within the assign area. To monitor existing Service Extension programs within assigned area (initially Centre County – to multiple counties as assigned). Be responsible to follow
internal control as it relates to funds, vehicles, wills, and other legal
documents. Maintain a direct information line between the Service Unit and the Divisional Headquarters staff. To recruit, train, and develop new committee chairpersons, members, and volunteers. Personally visit all Service Units within the assigned areas. Assist Units in developing their annual
budget. Establish public relations as well as interpret program in assigned service area. Support Service Units with the resources and materials needed for servicing their respective communities. Assist in the development and
implementation of new Service Extension Unit programs. Identify and recommend systemic change that will improve service delivery. Attend Service Unit meetings both locally and regionally. Attend
and/or recruit volunteers to attend all United Way, EFSP, funding, etc. meetings and be active in community service groups within the assigned region. Provide and maintain accurate records and train volunteers to do the same. Performs related duties as assigned.
